How We Pick
The Gift Edit is a small team putting together budget-friendly gift guides. Here is exactly how we choose what goes in them.
What we do
- Research, not lab testing. We read customer reviews and ratings, look at what is popular and well reviewed, and check for common complaints. We don't test products hands-on, and we won't claim to.
- Clear budgets. Guides are built around a budget tier like "under $25". We don't show exact prices because they change, so always check the current price on Amazon.
- A real recipient. Each pick has to make sense for the person the guide is for, and we explain why in a line or two.
- Keeping guides fresh. We update guides, swap out items that go out of stock or slip in reviews, and show the "Updated" date at the top.
How we make money
Links to Amazon are affiliate links, marked #ad. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. We also sell a few of our own printables, which are clearly labeled. Earning a commission never decides whether an item is included. See our affiliate disclosure.
